No herbal remedy can restore erections like Viagra and its prescription counterparts, says Steven Lamm, MD, an assistant professor of medicine at New York University and author of The Hardness Factor. But Lamm says these remedies may be appropriate for men who have experienced a decline in sexual performance but do not suffer from a diagnosable sexual problem. Lamm has endorsed an herbal remedy, marketed under the Roaring Tiger label, that combines horny goat weed and other herbal extracts with the amino acid L-arginine. (The supplements are made by the same company that makes the FastSize Extender.)
• This can be done by using a measurement tape to measure the penis circumference during an erection in the area that represents the midpoint of the penis length. If a measuirng tape is not available, use a piece of string. Place a knot near the end of the string. Wrap the string around the erect penis and hold the string adjacent to the knot. Place the string on a ruler by continuing to hold the string where first grasped and determine the length of the string from that grasping point to the knot. This will give you the circumference.
So it’s worth asking, guys, do you really need a bigger penis? Most men who seek treatment for the condition called “short penis” actually fall within normal penis size, the researchers found; their sense of what’s normal is simply warped. To qualify for the clinical definition of short-penis syndrome, a man must be smaller than 1.6 in. (4 cm) when limp and under 3 in. (7.6 cm) when erect. In a 2005 study of 92 men who sought treatment for short penis, researchers found that none qualified for the syndrome.
Some surgical methods have the most evidence of effectiveness, whereas others have fairly frequent complications, sometimes severe, including scarring that lead, ultimately, to penis shrinkage or erectile dysfunction. Noninvasive methods have received little scientific study, and most lack scientific evidence of effectiveness, although scientific evidence supports some elongation by prolonged traction. Some quack products may improve penis erection, mistaken by consumers for penis enlargement.
Short of cosmetic, reconstructive surgery, there's not really much you can do. There are no magic pills – drugs or herbal – that are going to do it for you. Any of these that have any actual safe effects just promote effective blood flow within the penis, which is what's responsible for causing an erection. Increasing the bloodflow safely in the penis will allow the fullest erection you can physically have, or might prolong erection. But you can't get a bigger penis in this way safely.
In contrast to common believe, the small penis syndrome is a mental disorder, subsumed under body dismorphic disorders (BDDs) and/or anxiety disorders. Basically, it’s a wrong perception of the own body, Men affected by it believe their penis is way too small, are almost obsessed by this thought, although their manhood has a normal length and girth. While the symtoms are very severe, including depression, anxiety and isolation, it’s a very rare psycological disorder. It’s often triggered by very negative personal experiences, e.g. rejection by a woman and other sexual problems. In case you think your penis is tiny, but has normal measurements, seeking professional help is recommended. There is also a very detailed article by clinical psychologist Ph.D. Mark Dombeck on MentalHelp we recommend for more details about SPS, characteristics and treatment. He points out: “It appears to us that some men have perfectly adequate penises, based on the measurements they’ve communicated. These penises are not going to break any world records, but they are probably just fine, however, these men are firmly convinced that they are hopelessly inadequately small.”

[Agents] were not required, before commencing the search, to present their estimate of probable cause for detached scrutiny by a neutral magistrate. They were not compelled, during the conduct of the search itself, to observe precise limits established in advance by a specific court order. Nor were they directed, after the search had been completed, to notify the authorizing magistrate in detail of all that had been seized. In the absence of such safeguards, this Court has never sustained a search upon the sole ground that officers reasonably expected to find evidence of a particular crime and voluntarily confined their activities to the least intrusive means consistent with that end.
And speaking of reconstructive surgery, this is a huge risk as well. I'm not qualified to speak knowledgeably about this topic. But my understanding is this kind of surgery is usually only an option for medical need. Completely non-functioning penis, reconstruction after serious injury, sex changes, that kind of thing. If you were to do this for purely cosmetic reasons, for example because you want a bigger member, if you found a doctor who was willing to do this for you my understanding is that you'll trade this off with a loss of sensitivity. Depending on the methods used, you could wind up with nerve damage, or even areas of no sensitivity. And sensation is one of the major mechanisms for many men to achieve an erection. I have heard tell of men who got such surgeries only to wind up with a larger penis that didn't perform.
All this might be leading to more than simple image anxiety; some have pointed to a new mental-health issue they term penile dysmorphic disorder. “It is a minority of men – and we don’t know how many – but it certainly exists and it’s as damaging as any other body dysmorphia,” says Professor David Veale, of King’s College London, an authority on health anxieties. “These men might seek out surgery, and for a few months they will be happy with the results. But then the same anxieties reappear. So, they seek out further surgery. It becomes a circle. But you cannot keep making your penis bigger. This requires therapy.”
The ruling was good for e-mail users; Warshak hoped it would be good for him, too. But although his constitutional rights had indeed been violated by the investigation, the court declined to overturn the verdict. Noting that most of the evidence actually presented at trial came from the physical raid on Berkeley headquarters rather than from the e-mails, and that the search warrant application had not used the e-mails as evidence, the court called the violation in Warshak's specific case "mostly harmless."
There are literally hundreds of advertisements and articles on penis enlargement, and your email inbox probably suffers as a result. They talk about the amazing, "unbelievable" results that can be achieved, but the only honest word here is "unbelievable." Save your money. Nothing currently on the market has been shown to permanently increase penis size.
Exercise your pelvic floor. You may not be able to build up the penis itself through exercise, but if you strengthen your pelvic floor your body will be better able to hold blood in your penis. The pelvic floor presses on the vein that keeps blood from leaving the penis during erections. You can strengthen your pelvic floor using Kegel exercises. A trial conducted in Britain concluded that men who performed Kegel exercises experienced better sexual function than those who made other lifestyle changes but didn't perform the exercises.
However, after more than a century of generally dubious and sometimes lunatic penis enlargement attempts, there's still not much you can do. Sure, there are lots and lots of supposed options out there -- penis pills, creams, brutal stretching exercises, horrific-looking devices, and penis surgery. Almost none of it works. The few approaches that can work often have modest benefits and serious side effects. How serious? In some cases, erectile dysfunction-serious.
They didn't convince either a jury or a set of appeals court judges. (As Judge Boggs eventually wrote of the company, "A reasonable juror could easily conclude that Berkeley's sales operation was, for the entire duration of its existence, little more than a colossal fraud.") After a six-week federal trial in early 2008, Warshak was sentenced to twenty-five years in prison, and he had to surrender $459 million in proceeds from the sale of Berkeley products and another $44 million for money laundering. His mother, Harriet, got two years in jail. Berkeley eventually entered bankruptcy.
The doctors at Morganstern Medical have a competitive advantage over other physicians and urologists performing penis enlargement surgery. Dr. Steven Morganstern has developed surgery protocols that produce the maximum size permanently. In fact, he is the physician that teaches other physicians on his technique. If you are seeing the largest possible improvement in your penis size and an outcome that lasts a lifetime, Morganstern Medical has the best options for you.

Berkeley Nutraceuticals entered bankruptcy as a result of the investigation, but it was rescued by its local landlord, Pristine Bay, which said it didn't want to lose an anchor tenant. Berkeley's name was changed to Vianda. The company now sells a "new" Enzyte blend that includes horny goat weed, ginseng, and ginkgo biloba — though it says it has ditched the shady sales practices. As for Smilin' Bob, he's still smiling his way through TV commercials; devotees can even order "Livin' Large" T-shirts adorned with the character's face.
Warshak argued that his company was simply the victim of its own success, overwhelmed with orders and run by people with no real experience in business at this scale. Berkeley's "operational deficiencies," as Warshak's lawyers called them, were simply "a byproduct of unsophisticated business practices in Berkeley's formative years and Berkeley's virtually unprecedented growth, rather than the result of criminal fraud." As evidence, they noted that the company had finally abandoned its undisclosed auto-ship program after several years and had installed an automated system to record all calls with customers. It even set up a compliance department, which at one point had nearly fifty employees, to ensure that customer interactions were aboveboard.
If these scientific facts do not change your feelings, consider the fact that maybe, like a woman bombarded by photoshopped images of "vixens" who have been surgically enhanced, you may also be comparing yourself to some unreality and suffering needlessly as a result. In fact, one 2005 study appearing in the journal Urology found exactly this to be the case. Of 92 patients who complained of a short penis, almost all of them had “overestimated the normal penile size,” noted the authors. More importantly, not one of these men actually had short penises.
For men with performance issues who are physically healthy, Boyle often prescribes counseling, such as marriage counseling for men with relationship issues or psychiatric help for men who are preoccupied with a problem in penile appearance. For young men with sexual performance problems and no signs of physical problems, Boyle may prescribe counseling and a low dose of Viagra as they work out issues of insecurity. "They need reassurance from a physician that everything is OK," she says.
