This is not some fanciful idea, or is it theoretical hogwash. Evidence from one study of 367 military personnel, all men, and no one older than 40, found those who felt most satisfied in terms of male genital self-image had lower levels of sexual anxiety and better sexual functioning. And what about the self-doubting ones, those who disliked the appearance of their member? The researchers found the opposite to be true in some (though not all) cases. Dissatisfaction led to anxiety, which led to sexual difficulties — a vicious cycle.
Because of great risk and uncertainty, medical professionals are generally skeptical of penile enlargement and avoid attempting it. Medical doctors do treat micropenis as a medical condition, however, usually by surgery, which can be warranted to improve urinary or sexual function. Most men seeking penis enlargement have normal-size penises, and many may experience penile dysmorphophobia by underestimating their own penis size while overestimating the average size.
I was married for 3 years to a guy who hung like a horse. He wasnt a skilled lover and I have a small vagina. My husband of 22 years is about 6 1/2 inches erect (average) and very skilled. What I have learned over the years to enjoy the fullness of him, is to wait until Im nearly finished with my climax and then have him pluge fully in to his comfort. Its great. My climax is still going and I feel the fullness of him. I cant get enough!
Many reports, articles or scientific penis augmentation studies discuss the success of these methods, but it is not always easy to know if they are really permanent or not and what kind of side effects they bring with them. Even though, the consumer has to make the distinction between fraudulent marketing advertisements and real scientific based arguments, it is widely accepted that it is possible for a man to enlarge his penis.
Not all operations leave happy customers – infections and scarring are both potential side-effects (“This is the same as an operation of any kind,” Viel says). Some men report a decline in angle after the suspensory ligament is cut, but according to David Ralph, a professor of urology at UCL, “By and large, patients don’t complain about that. The operation doesn’t change the erect length at all – this is only for men who have anxiety about how they look in the changing rooms. The average increase in size is 1.3cm, less than the diameter of a 1p coin. In my clinics, I show patients one of these and ask if they still think it is worth it. Less than 5% decide to, and of those who do, the satisfaction rate is just 20%.”
If you have had a general anesthetic, you will stay in the facility overnight. If a local anesthetic was used, the surgeon may discharge you on the same day. Your penis may be covered with a dressing that needs to be changed at intervals. Your surgeon may prescribe medication for pain. If an antibiotic is given, follow directions carefully and promptly report any signs of infection.
Instead of furtively turning to untested methods, men with persistent concerns should consider opening up about them with their doctors. That's because performance problems sometimes act as an early warning signal for serious health problems. Your doctor might be able to prescribe something that can really help, or least provide a valuable dose of perspective about what constitutes "normal" sexual performance.
